Iranian security forces accompanied by agents of the intelligence service and Basij launched a crack down on Alshamriya village that belongs to the capital city, Ahwaz and arrested 5 Ahwazis.
According to the residents of the village more than 60 vehicles of the security forces participated in besieging the village and extensive inspections have been conducted throughout the entire village.
While the Iranian security forces claimed that they were searching for specific "wanted suspects"; the inside sources denied adding that not only they didn't present any warrants, they didn't even know the names of who are they arresting.
The 5 arrested members of Ahwazi ethnic minority are
1.Najil Hashmi(maleki) bin Ali
2.Hajib Hashmi bin Hussein
3.Nour Ali Hashmi
4.Hazem Hashmi bin Saddam
5.Hassan Hashmi bin Tohma
Arbitrary arrests remain common among this persecuted minority and committed with impunity.
These arrests coming shortly after hearing of gunshots by unknowns during a visit by one of the IRGC leaders (Khadem Al Sayed Al shuhada) to the villages of Alshamriya and Alsafha which have been plugged into horrendous deliberate flooding caused by the terrorist IRGC in order to displace the Ahwazis from their villages and cities.
