The announcement of the petrol price hike has sparked a wave of protests in more than 60 cities while hundreds were arrested and more than 200 wounded
protests in Iran flared shortly after it was announced in the early hours of Friday that the price of petrol would be raised by 50 %.
Dozens of government owned banks, buildings and vehicles were burned by the protesters as they chanted” down with Khamenai”.
Number of those killed by IRGC in the demonstrations so far exceeded 40 persons across Iran.
A.O.H.R obtained some of the names of who were shot dead by Iranian security forces in recent days in Ahwaz and other provinces. The names and the cities of the killed protestors are as following:

Osman Naderi and two unknown persons (Merouan)
Six people from Mahmara (Khorramshahr) including Mitham Adgi Bur 30 years old

One person in Shiraz
One person in Shahryar
Two persons in Bab Hani
4 person in Ahwaz the capital city including Mohammad Reza Assafi Zergani, 20 years old, Zergan region
