The Alahwazi Organization for Human Rights (A.O.H.R) strongly condemns the arbitrary arrest of seven Sunni Arab citizens by Iranian intelligence agents in the city of Hamidiyeh on Tuesday evening, July 7, while they were performing the evening prayer (Isha).
The identities of two detainees have been confirmed:
* Amer Kaabi (son of Badr) – Resident of Malashiyeh neighborhood, Ahwaz.
* Riad Zoheiri – Resident of Malashiyeh neighborhood, Ahwaz.
As of this release, security authorities refuse to disclose their location, medical state, or legal charges, amounting to "enforced disappearance." These arrests follow an ongoing crack-down wave across Ahwaz, Hamidiyeh, Ma'shur, Abadan, Fallahiye, and Kut Abdullah.

Storming places of worship and private residences without warrants constitutes severe breaches of international law:
