Iranian intelligence service arrested Adnan Jassem Sari a few days ago and transferred him to an unknown location. Ahwazi Organisation for Human Rights  has not yet obtained any details about the detention circumstances or the reasons for the arrest and his whereabouts.

There are hundreds of Ahwazis in Iranian prisons in which any information regarding them have not been published; not even their names have been informed to any Ahwazi institutions or humanitarian organizations in exile due to intimidation that their families faced by the Iranian authorities.

The Iranian authorities had have been threatening most of the detainees' families by posing more severe sentences if they contact human rights organizations in exile.
