Widespread protests broke out following the murder of poet Hassan Haidari in the cities of Al-Falahiya, Al-Mahmriyah, Al-Hamidiya and other cities in solidarity with the protesters of the capital city of Ahwaz, denouncing the assassination of the poet Hassan.
After being injected and fed a poisonous substance by his physicians in the headquarter of the intelligence service in city of Ahwaz he died shortly after his release.
Reports indicate that in some cities such as Al-Falahiya, the protesters blocked the main roads by burning tires, leading to clashes between Iranian security forces and Ahwazi demonstrators.
Compatriots from the cities of Mohamara and Abadan arrived today, November 12 to Ahwaz the capital city with buses to join the protesters and commemorate the young poet who was murdered by the intelligence service through poisoning.
Iranian intelligence arrested some of Hassan´s relatives for installing poetry podium.
Detainees are Ebrahim Haidari, 30 years old
Yusef Haidari, 25 years old
Qasim Haidari (Hassan´s uncle) 54 years old
Hassan Sari, 39 years old (neighbour of the murdered poet)
