Iranian intelligence arrested today Laila Shawardi, sister of the Ahwazi journalist in Netherlands Nasser Aziz Khanafere after raiding her home without arrest warrant or any official permission from the legal authorities.
The intelligence said that the arrest of Leila came in response to the remarkable media presence of her brother Mr. Nasser Aziz on The Ahwazina TV channel.
Laila has been taken as hostage by the Iranian intellignece stressing that she'll be released on condition that her brother Nasser stop appearing on the Ahwazina TV channel and her eldest brother Ghasem and her father hand themselves over to the security authorities otherwise she will stay in detention.
Other family members including her father and eldest brother fled the area before the security forces arrived in return the Iranian intelligence took her as hostage to put pressure on her family members to surrender.

The Iranian authorities threatened to continue imprisoning Leila and prevent her from seeing her child until her brother stop appearing on the Ahwazana channel, which is a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and conventions, which guarantee human freedom of thought, opinion and belief as well as freedom of expression.
