The young Ahwazi writer and poet was arrested yesterday, Monday, in his home in Al-Hamidiya city, after his house was raided by Iranian intelligence forces.
The Iranian intelligence agents arrested the poet without presenting any arrest warrant or legal authorization from the legal authorities.
The poet Shihab Sayahi, who is 27 years old, was also arrested in advance of his participation in popular events and recited national and enthusiastic poems, but after his pledge not to participate, he was released.
This time, too, the charge was the same, but without giving any written official document to the poet or his family.
Since the beginning of the new year, a number of Ahwazi cities witnessed a large-scale arrests campaign by the Iranian security and intelligence services in which most of the detainees have been transferred to separate prisons and cells of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Ahwaz, the capital.
