On the evening of Thursday, September 10, 2026, intelligence forces raided the home and livestock farm of Mostafa Cheldawi in the village of Abudeh (located on the Hamidieh–Alahwaz road), arresting a number of Sunni Arab citizens. During this operation, the homeowner and his 13-year-old son, Ali Cheldawi, were also detained.
According to reports received, around nine vehicles carrying plainclothes intelligence agents surrounded the home and farm. The agents entered the premises amidst gunfire, panic, and heavy violence, physically assaulting those present before arresting them.
The detainees were initially transferred to the city of Hamidieh, where they were held for one night, after which some of them were transferred to Shiban Prison in Alahwaz. Families have had no contact with the detainees since their arrest.

* Ibrahim Hamdani, resident of Alahwaz.
* Hadi Beit-Sheikh-Ahmad (Abu Kamal), 55 years old, married with four children, resident of Golestan.
* Reza Sowari, married with three daughters, resident of Alahwaz Township.
* Khaled Gharbawi, married with two sons, resident of Alahwaz Township.
* Jafar Cheldawi, married with three sons, resident of Alahwaz Township.
* Loghman Betrani, married with three sons, resident of Alahwaz Township.
* Kamal Betrani, married with three sons, resident of Pardis, Alahwaz.
* Abbas Heidari
* Amir Jaderi
Most of these citizens have a history of arrest and imprisonment due to their political and ideological activities, and some have been dismissed from their jobs for the same reason. No details regarding their charges have been released. The detention of a 13-year-old child, coupled with reports of violence during the arrest and transfer to detention facilities, has raised serious human rights concerns regarding due process, child protection, and the prohibition of arbitrary arrest.
